Keeping fragile snacks safe in a box

The first thing to crumble in any parcel is the fragile snack. Crisps, wafers, and thin biscuits cannot fight gravity, so the packaging has to do the work for them. Here is how we keep the delicate stuff intact.
Cushioning is not optional
Fragile snacks need a soft buffer around them, and they need it on all sides. We wrap brittle items and pad them so a drop on the doorstep does not translate into a drop of the snack. The goal is to absorb the shock before it reaches the food.

No empty space, no shifting
A fragile snack breaks when it moves and hits something harder. We pack boxes so tightly that nothing can slide. When the contents fill the box, there is no room to build up speed before impact, and that is what saves the thin stuff.
Put the delicate items on top
Layering matters. Heavy jars go at the bottom, and light fragile snacks go on top, where no weight rests on them. It is a simple rule that prevents the most common kind of crush damage.
If you want to know which of our boxes leans on the sturdier snacks, the gift boxes page is the place to look. Worried about a specific item? contact us before you order.
