Roda Ulven Original surstromming, fermented herring, 400 g tin

Roda Ulven surströmming is the fermented herring in its traditional tin, and it's the real deal, the one people warn you about. The can is a small, dangerous object.

This is for the committed. Open it outdoors, under water, with people who know what they're signing up for. It's a badge of honour as much as a meal.
