Shipping snacks that can't melt or crush

Two things ruin a snack in transit: heat and pressure. Chocolate turns to soup in a hot van, and crisps turn to dust under a heavy box. We plan around both, and that planning starts before we ever pick the product.

Choose snacks built for travel

Some snacks are simply sturdier than others. Hard candy, gummy sweets, dry noodles, and sealed sauces survive a rough journey without complaint. We lean on those for the base of every box and save the delicate stuff for the cooler months or for items we know can take it.

Sturdy snacks

Cushioning beats luck

Crush damage is mostly a packing problem, not a shipping problem. We wrap brittle items, fill gaps so nothing shifts, and separate heavy jars from light crisps. When a box has no empty space for items to rattle around in, they arrive the way we packed them.

Think about the season

In summer we are careful with chocolate and anything that softens above room temperature. If a customer orders a heat sensitive snack in July, we either pack it with extra insulation or suggest something that will not turn liquid. It is a small adjustment that saves a lot of disappointment.

If you are curious which boxes ship best in which season, the gift boxes page is a good start. And contact us if you want a hand picking something melt proof.

Frequently asked questions

Can I order chocolate in summer?

You can, but we may swap it or insulate it so it arrives solid.

Do you use cold packs?

Rarely. Most of what we ship is fine at room temperature.

What if something does break?

Tell us through contact and we will sort it out.
